How many asian rockstars have you seen in America? I've always wanted to be a rockstar. My race made me feel like there was a glass ceiling defining how big a rockstar I could become. I play music in defiance of that fact. There is room for someone like me. I hope this inspires others.

Trying times beg the question: Is humanity redeemable? I do believe it is. Art is testament to that statement. I find solace in it. The monuments of beauty comfort me. Violence is gratuitous, unless it’s for the greater good… Generally it can be avoided if we listen and love. We need to listen and love. Klansmen, robes of fear, But they are redeemable. Ignorance hung up. Understanding will bring us together. Love will prevail.

about

Starlust is an album composed with the intention of fusing elements of low brass performance with electronic music (such as dubstep). In this album, low brass instruments are played, sometimes with electronic effect and combined with chiptune and beats. Synths, brass parts, and lyrics were composed by Brendan Ige (pronounced ee-gay). All backing track beats were composed by John Baylies (pronounced bay-less). Men Wearing Dresses hopes to continue creating relevant music for years to come. This album is meant to evoke feelings of space and the galaxy. The size and scope and how large the universe is can be truly humbling as a single human. We hope you enjoy this album.
